We were on the Zephyrus bridge, enjoying Barney’s reaction to the description of the New Jersey.
“It would take more than a day to walk the whole ship,” Barney said, his wide eyes moving from one to another of us.
“We have a transport system,” JJ said. “It’s called the tin can.”
“Why is it called that?”
“Because of the shape of the cars,” I said. “They’re cylindrical, and shoot through a tube at high velocity.”
“Are they magnetic like a railgun?” Barney asked.
“Yep,” I replied. “Deneuve, feel free to take Barney out there whenever you two are ready. Just understand that you’ll get more attention than you’re used to.”
